It's hard to imagine someone kinder than Chris, but in a way it makes sense too, that his older brother might have rivaled him in that much. If anything, it seems to suggest that Chris himself probably learned a great deal from that older brother, that Peter was the one who set the example, and that part of Peter lives on in his younger brother, who continues to still look up to him so much.
